Color Choices For Your Concrete Countertops

One of the greatest things about concrete is its versatility. There are so many ways to mold, texturize and color a concrete surface, enabling you to create exactly the look you’d envisioned. Concrete color options are virtually endless, and one of the best ways to achieve the perfect color for your concrete countertops is by using dry pigments.

Buddy Rhodes Ultra-Fine Dry Pigments come in a convenient, easy to use soluble bag that when immersed in water produces consistent, color-rich results.  This product is ideal for use in kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, floor tiles and other decorative concrete projects. One bag of Buddy Rhodes color pigment will color two bags of concrete mix, and measurements can be adjusted depending on the size of your project.

To start out you’ll need to place one bag of the Ultra-Fine Dry Pigments into a bucket filled with 8 quarts of water. Mix until the pigments have completely dissolved, then add one bag of Buddy Rhodes Concrete Mix. Mix the concrete into the colored water and once consistent; mix in the other bag of concrete mix. Add one quart of water or more to achieve the desired consistency, and you’re ready to go!
